Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the website fasttaxreturn.com.au, fasttaxrefund.com.au, and the online portal at taxo.au, operated by Taxo Advisory (ABN registered), trading as Fast Tax Return Australia. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Services Provided
Taxo Advisory is a registered tax agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). We provide tax return preparation and lodgement, BAS lodgement, payroll compliance, superannuation compliance, and related tax agent services. All services are subject to your agreement to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Client Responsibilities
As our client, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information for your tax return or BAS
- Retaining all receipts, invoices, and records supporting claimed deductions for at least 5 years
- Reviewing your completed tax return before it is lodged and confirming its accuracy
- Notifying us promptly if your circumstances change (e.g. new income source, property purchase or sale)
- Paying our fees by the due date
Taxo Advisory relies on the information you provide. We are not responsible for errors or omissions resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.
3. Tax Agent Authorisation
By engaging our services, you authorise Taxo Advisory to act as your registered tax agent, including to:
- Access your ATO account information via the ATO's systems
- Prepare and lodge your income tax returns, BAS, and other ATO obligations
- Communicate with the ATO on your behalf regarding the returns we lodge
- Access your pre-fill information from the ATO
4. Fees & Payment
Our fees are disclosed before engagement and vary based on the complexity of your tax situation. Fees are payable upon completion of your return or as otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to withhold lodgement of your return until payment is received. All fees are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
5. Accuracy & Liability
We prepare your return based on the information you provide and our professional judgement as registered tax agents. While we take every care to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee any particular tax outcome or refund amount. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to us for the specific service in question. We are not liable for ATO audit outcomes arising from information you provided that was inaccurate or incomplete.
6. ATO Audits
If the ATO queries or audits a return we have prepared, we will provide reasonable assistance in responding to the ATO — at no additional charge for standard correspondence. Complex audit representation may incur additional fees, which we will disclose in advance.
7. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the Tax Agent Services Act 2009, and the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not disclose client information to third parties except as required by law or to provide the agreed services.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on fasttaxreturn.com.au, fasttaxrefund.com.au, and taxo.au is owned by or licensed to Taxo Advisory. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement at any time by written notice. Fees for work completed up to the termination date remain payable. Upon termination, we will provide you with all documents and information we hold on your behalf within a reasonable time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
